We will begin with Holst’s sumptuously evocative ballet music to The Perfect Fool. We then welcome our friend and virtuoso violinist extraordinaire, Charlie Lovell-Jones, to play Walton’s magnificent Violin Concerto. Concluding the evening, we will perform the atmospheric Symphony No.2 celebrating London, the chosen town of that quintessentially English composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams.
