The rangers MSFL travel to Ansty Sports and Social II this week and hope to build on last weekends draw with Jarvis Brook II by securing three points on their travels.
Ansty currently sit second from bottom of division 6 having only won 2 from 6 games. They started their 2014/15 campaign with a home tie against title favourites Framfield and Blackboys United II which ended in a 2-0 defeat. Seven days later, they travelled to DCK Copthorne where they were on the wrong end of a 7-1 scoreline. A home win against Keymer (4-3) preceded an away defeat to Jarvis Brook II (6-2) while in October, Ansty thumped bottom club Ashurst Wood II 7-1. Ansty’s most recent fixture was in early November when they lost 3-2 at Sporting Elite II – that’s nearly 3 months without a game!
Their league form reads: P6 W2 D0 L2 F16 A22 Pts6 and their top scorer is Sam Dutton who has 8 goals to his name. It should be noted that Ansty have played 5 of their six league games against those in the top six, so this will not be an easy task for rangers. The same application as the first 45 minutes last week should hopefully see rangers too strong for this weeks opposition, especially if top scorer Glen Noble (13 goals in 13 games) shows the form he showed last time out.
Bring home the points fella’s.
