A great place for family to have a fun experience. Sadly the hole pointer boards were generally not where they should have been or were damaged. Management needs to ensure that vandals are not causing damage that impacts this great family venue.

Amazing views and lovely setting, but feel the multiple criss/cross holes and blind tee shots could be better managed with bells/platforms etc

Very much enjoyed and will be back.

Not my favourite course to many cross over holes. No driving range and half hearted practice net. Buggies are decent as course is hilly . Average priced after 14.oohrs But wouldn't pay full price .

Our second event for thebestof Eastbourne was held at the club this week, this time in the downstairs function room. I was delighted to arrive to the room being set up the way I has asked and the team were only to happy to make sure we had everything we needed to keep our guests comfortable. As an organiser there is nothing better than your attendees commenting about the lovely surroundings and how they can also book the venue for their own events!

Great condition, great catering. Only drawback as it has always been is too many. Criss cross holes and a bit hilly. All in all very good.

Highly recommend the carvery on a Sunday too with veggie options on request.
Great for groups and events when you want fancy food but don't want to pay ridiculous prices. Will come back again and again.

A superb course in great condition that uses the natural terrain really well. I don’t know at what point in his career Dr. Mackenzie designed Willingdon, but he did a great job either way. I was fortunate to play on a weekday evening so I was able to appreciate the layout more as I played. I loved the quirkiness of the holes where you crossed other groups and the instructions were clear. I personally found the greens a bit slow, but I’m not sure if they were due a cut. Either way they were in really good condition, as were the bunkers and tee-boxes, etc. Willingdon is a very open course, each hole is laid out before you and as such it would suit both experienced players and beginners. The scenery is stunning and on more than one hole there are sea views. Definitely a play again course, favourite holes for me include the 1st, 4th, 13th & 14th.
