Wow. I thought I had tried everything else to stop smoking, and someone told me that Matthew was good. So, approaching it with much scepticism, and near rudeness in my attitude towards "this great therapist I know" I found Matthew charming, with a wonderful ability to laugh at life and at himself . He put me completely at ease.
He told me that he couldn't wave a magic wand, and that much of the magic was inside me. He then hypnotised me and showed me that I was using my own inner resources to stop.

There I was - smoking a last desparate ciggy before getting on the tube - when this guy came up and gave me a lighter. It had his name and phone number on it, with a message saying that he could help me quit smoking. I laughed with him about it, but a week later - when I had looked at the details dozens of times - I rang him. We booked an appointment, and, amazingly, I don't smoke anymore. Thanks Matt

My friend told me about Matt's hypnosis. She had seen him for Past Life Regression. I went to give up a life of coughing and spluttering caused by cigarette smoking. He helped me to create an aversion to cigarettes and hypnotised me into believing that smoking was part of my distant past. I have not smoked since August. Thank you Matt.

I had been getting into all sorts of trouble. In my social set drinking and being drunk or out of control was seen as cool, and I played along by getting so drunk that I fell over, on many occasions. I phoned Matthew as a last resort and found that amazingly I just had no wish to drink to excess anymore. I have had the odd beer on a weekly basis, but no longer want to get ratted. As a student I was doing the normal activities of someone away from home for the first time. This meant overdrinking and partying til dawn for far too many times.
Of course I believed that I was the life and soul of the party. I thought i told the best jokes, I thought I was the most attractive person to the opposite sex, and the coolest dancer. But pretty soon I just became a bore to everyone around me.
There were also consequences - hangovers, missed lectures and assignments, fights, and blackouts. When I went to see Matthew I was suffering from the realisation that the love life I had imagined taking off wasn't happening. The hypnosis was like a dazed experience, but there was no after effect. He helped me to the stage of enjoying a drink without going over the top and I did find that women were noticing me too.

I lost weight with Matthew at his Ealing clinic. I was getting horribly overweight with lots of junk foods, and the only exercise I was getting was mowing the lawn. He taught me how to control and eliminate my cravings, whilst educating my mind about the foods that I need. Six months on I am 32 pounds lighter and am wearing a whole new outfit. My wife says I am wonderful.
