After a very romantic Valentine evening with my gorgeous husband I found that I was pregnant for the first time. Everybody seemed to be giving me advice. But the best suggestion came from an old schoolmate. "Give up smoking with Matthew", she said, "It's almost guaranteed, you'll be helping you little girl and you'll feel fantastic too." It was when my father had bypass surgery that I decided to give up smoking. Any way that i could avoid the pain he went through had to be tried. I failed at my first few attempts -the addiction had been too strong.But then I heard about hypnosis and saw how people were singing Matthew's praises. I gave it a go. I'm glad that I did. He broke my smoking triggers and created an aversion to cigarette smoke into my mind. I have been smoke free for nine months. Thank you Matthew

I saw Matt in January as part of a new year resolution -I wanted to lose weight and look great -but I wanted something a bit different from the slimming club plans. Matthew's hypnosis made me feel wonderful. He gave me control over snacking and I went from 20 stones to 17 stones in 9 months. I didn't feel hungry at all because I ate nice foods in moderation and didn' t feel the need to test myself. He doesn't need me to recommend him because his work speaks for itself -but I do thoroughly recommend this man and his hypnosis.

I had smoked as a teenager, but gave it up in my twenties. Last year, when dealing with a bereavement, I took up smoking again and started to comfort eat. I thought that by smoking and eating sweet things I could handle the emotional baggage. But the baggage just got stuffed deeper inside. I saw Matthew in January. Hypnotherapy helped to pinpoint the emotions and deal with them safely. I stopped smoking and felt a lot better and energised. I have lost 3 stones in weight too. Matthew is a genius and I am truely grateful and can't find the words to thank him enough.

I read in the Guardian that it is alcohol awareness week next week. I remembered that this time last year I was getting through two bottles of wine a day - and snorting coke as well. But I saw Matthew in January and I am not the person I was at the end of last year. I am no longer depending on a drink to get me through the day. I am really chilled out and can have the occasional glass once or twice a week. Hypnosis gave me back control of my life and purpose - to be happy in myself, without stimulants.
