Ciaron McPartlin refurbished the hall ceiling in our Ealing house in February 2016. The completed work is very neat and accomplished. Ciaron was thoroughly professional, kept to time, and always left the site clean and tidy. We were particularly impressed by Ciaron’s ability to resolve problems, and to introduce improvements, as the work was in progress. We would have no hesitation in employing him again. I had been using the patches for a month - to stop smoking - but they just weren't working. I still wanted to smoke. It wasn't that I needed to break a physical addiction to cigarettes. What I needed was to break my psychological addiction - my reward and comfort system. This all went out of the window when I saw Matthew - his hypnotherapy made me feel absolutely wonderful - and broke down all of my excuses to smoke. I'm a model and I went to see Matthew becauseof a habit I had with coke. I had been taking it to give me a rush and help me to forget about food. But I was so hungry when I was coming down that i overate and put on weight. Matthew's hypnotherapy stopped the cocaine use dead, and, as he helped me examine the insecurities that led to comfort eating, my weight dropped off too. I lost 18 pounds whilst doing his program, and have lost a further 12 pounds since last summer. Fantastic weight loss. Fantastic service.

I stopped smoking with Effective Hypnosis in October 2015. I had been worried that I would put on weight, but Matthew explained to me that this wouldn't happen if I kept my blood sugar level. It feels so good to be an ex-smoker. I didn't have any cravings at all. Now I don't have to go and freeze outside. My clothes don't sink, my car doesn't smell, and I have so much energy. I went to Matthew for the hypnotic gastric band in November. The hypnotherapy really changed my thinking and appetite. I still bought a family pizza - but then I was full after just one slice. I lost 4.4 lbs in the first week and 3lbs in the second. By the time I came to the second session I had lost over a stone, and the success continued. I gained 34 pounds in weight, after being prescribed antidepressants, following a bereavement. My metabolism seemed to have seized up. I saw Matthew on my birthday in December and things are starting to function again. I got motivated to get active and have lost 7 pounds and an inch from my waist - despite the temptations of Christmas. Well, I recommend Effective Hypnosis because I have not smoked for three years. I was getting run down and I knew I had to stop, but the pills my doctor gave me were doing my head in. It was awesome that my addiction disappeared in just a one hour session, and very pleasing to notice my weight gradually going. I started to notice how healthy and attractive I was becoming.
