I managed to give up cocaine with Matthew at Effective Hypnosis. I had been struggling to meet deadlines and fallen into an addictive pattern of using gear to keep me awake all night to hand in my assignments. Pretty soon it was all that I could think about - the nagging thought being "When can I have the next line?"
Matthew showed me how to alter my focus with tapping techniques, so I didn't need it - and hypnotised me so that I felt I didn't want it. I didn't really need the following two sessions, because I found myself quite easily saying "No thank you" when gear was offered to me. I feel transformed.

I finally gave up smoking, after trying for ages with nicotine replacement therapy - to no avail - my girlfriend suggested that I try hypnosis. I found Matthew Hall a pleasant man, but wasn't really sure what hypnotherapy was about. He explained that it was about helping me to get to where wanted to be - a non-smoker. He put me into trance and used imagery that showed me a new person, who had already changed, who was both healthy and wealthy as a result of this transformation. I left my cigarettes with him and left as a non-smoker. This was in January 2018 - nine months ago -and I am now happy and healthy with no pulls towards my former habit. Thank you Matthew.

Matthew Hall stopped my gambling addiction. I didn't quite lose my house, but I had to take out a pretty hefty loan in order to keep it and pay off my gambling debts. I realised that it was stupid and called Effective Hypnosis. Matthew was verygentle - when I was expecting him to be stern. He completely changed my attitudes in three sessions and I am cured of my addiction. Thank you.

Thanks to Ciaron for a truly excellent job repairing some grotty leak damage to a big corner of our bedroom.
The job is superb but he advised on the best approach and offered the slightly cheaper approach however - !! _ when it comes to cleanliness – Ciaron's the tops!
I even did a sneaky hoover after he left but couldn’t hear a thing being sucked into the vacuum bag! Top punctuality and finished exactly on time.
I don’t wish that we need more plastering doing ( 😊 ) but if we do Ciaron is the top of and the only person on the list!

I went to see Matt because I was having difficulty getting over a relationship. There were all sorts of problems associated with obsessiveness, jealousy and a broken heart. However, upon examination , I realised that my bigger problem was, in fact, alcohol dependency. Once we had sorted this out, through hypnosis, the failings of the last relationship seemed insignificant. I am now dating again, and, for the most part, dry. I am having the occasional drink, but it doesn't rule me. Matt was very supportive and caring, and really knew his stuff.

I contacted Ciaron regarding my ceiling which needed re plastering. I found him to be efficient, punctual, easy to deal with and a very good plasterer. He did the job exactly as he said he would with no fuss and then cleaned up after. I would definitely use him again.
