Bill Hardman helped us tremendously with a redesign project for the roof and porch on our house in Yorkshire.
Stunning drawings were produced of the redesign ahich was accepted by the local council . We are in a conservation area. The project is under consideration for completion next year.
Very responsive, creative and solution focused business.Thanks.

I am absolutely delighted with how the house looks now and would/will have no hesitation in recommending any of you in the professional team to people thinking of getting something similar done.

William Hardman has drawn up plans for a kitchen extension for my house and has dealt with all the paperwork and liaison with the council planning department. He explained everything clearly and his advice has been fantastic. William Hardman has taken the strain out of the whole process and I can wholeheartedly recommend his services. Furthermore he has always been very accessible to discuss issues by phone and quick to reply to emails.

We had a consultation with Bill Hardman prior to embarking on a kitchen and garden project. He discussed various design options with us that would best suit the space. He followed up with recommendations for windows, doors, rooflights etc and also put us in contact with an excellent building firm. We would certainly approach him again should we require the services of an architect.
William Hardman is a caring and skilfull local architect, who also understands environmental issues and who goes the extra mile for local charities as well. His designs are innovative and far-seeing, and are followed through to the last detail.
As Chair of the trustees of the Log Cabin in Ealing (a charity for special needs children) I would like to say that having William Hardman Associates on Board when we were looking to rebuild and expand our premises made a huge difference.
Bill guided us through the whole process up to planning permission stage - from eliciting our wish-list and needs to the practicalities of what was possible. He designed a £2M+ building which fulfilled a complex set of requirements on a difficult site, coping calmly with enforced changes in the plans during the process and the various parties involved. Although construction of the building was then taken over by Council contractors, Bill has continued to provide us freely with advice and support. We could not have asked for more and I would certainly recommend him.

"I recently employed William Hardman Associates to provide urgent professional advice on a structural issue. I required analysis and advice on the best way to progress and to prepare a report for my insurers. Mr Hardmad provided a prompt and highly professional service and my insurance claim was successful. He also recommended a firm of builders who were first class. He managed the project throughout with utter professionalism. I would recommend him without hesitation."

I recently undertook a major restructuring and refurbishment of my house in Ealing. As the scope of the work was large and complex, I decided I needed some help . William performed a number of roles, including:
* designing the structural changes to the house, including changing the location of the front door, moving the main staircase and separating and combining rooms
* helping gain approval from the local planning authorities
* helping select the building company
* managing the build to completion.
I would unreservedly recommend William to anyone thinking of employing an architect or project manager because he:
* did a superb and patient job of helping me think through the design and transferring the ideas in my head to paper and into drawings
* supported me with advice in a series of meetings with the Ealing Council planning officers
* defined and ran an RFP process to select a competitively priced building contractor that would deliver to a good standard of quality
* managed the project so that a complex build came in on budget, despite some changes to the original plan

"Whilst having a loft conversion done I was badly let down by my original architect and builder, who left me with a half finished, botched job. Coming into this extremely difficult situation, Mr Hardman took over as Project Manager. He found new builders, working closely with them to overcome the existing problems and progress the work, and managed the project to completion with thoroughness and efficiency. After the chaos of the original build, Mr Hardman's calm control of the situation was a great relief. I would recommend Mr Hardman unreservedly."
