A care home in Derby is opening its doors for a retro party complete with music, dancing and vintage fun.

On Saturday 18th July, from 1pm-3pm, Care UK’s Heatherton House, on Rykneld Road, will be hosting a 1920s day packed with live music and a roaring twenties themed buffet.

Residents, relatives and guests can look forward to dancing along to live entertainment from local singer Sarah Bright, who will be performing classic hits from across the roaring twenties in the home’s outdoor space.

Kate Day, Home Manager at Heatherton House, said “We’re so excited to be opening our doors and welcoming the local community to join us for our 1920s day!

“Bringing people together is at the heart of what we do at Heatherton House, and what better way to celebrate that spirit than with great music, good vibes, and a real sense of togetherness.

“We can’t wait to enjoy a day full of rhythm, laughter and connection!”
