The Guild Players are an amateur theatre group based in Deal who have been entertaining the people of Deal and the surrounding area with high quality stage shows since 1955. We meet at St George's Hall, High St, Deal on Tuesdays from 7:30pm for about 2 hours and, for several weeks before a show, we also meet on Thursdays, at the same time, at various other local rehearsing venues.
We perform our shows in St George's Hall, High St, Deal, which we rename The Kilshawe Theatre for the duration of our productions.
Membership of the Society is open to anybody upon payment of the current annual subscription of £15. We also charge a modest show fee of £10 if you are cast in a show.We are always interested to hear from anyone who would like to contribute to the life and activities of our dynamic amateur theatre group. No previous experience required, only enthusiasm.
