Cheshire Constabulary was founded in 1857 and is now responsible for policing nearly a million people.
The Force covers an area of great diversity, with large rural expanses, areas of extensive heavy industry, the areas of Chester and Warrington and also polices more than 200 miles of motorway roads.
There are approximately 2,081 regular Police Officers, 220 Police Community Support Officers and 1,464 civilian Police Staff.
In this Neighbourhood Policing Unit there are three Neighbourhood Policing Teams covering Crewe, Haslington and Shavington
All the Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers are aware that a high profile police presence is important. They make a point of being seen and getting to know as many people in the local community as possible. They know that as well as keeping people safe they need to make sure people feel safe.
The Nantwich Neighbourhood Unit are responsible for policing in the town of Nantwich and the surrounding areas of Acton, Audlem, Bunbury, Minshull, Peckforton, Willaston, Wrenbury and Wybunbury.
