The Cheshire Constabulary have today warned drivers to take extra care when driving due to the inclement weather conditions affecting the roads of Cheshire today.
Ice and rain has created very dangerous and slippy road conditions, particularly on the A34 at Congleton, A556 at Tabley, and on the M62 at Croft. Several collisions have already been reported and Police and other emergency services are doing all they can to come to the aid of motorists and attend to those needing assistance.
