Hope House Children’s Hospices are a lifeline for terminally ill children, their brothers, sisters and families, helping them find the best way down the hardest of paths.

To do this we need your help

The Corporate Challenge is an exciting fundraiser and participation is limited to the first 100 organisations to sign up. We hope you will be one of them.

Each company will be given £50 on March 1st and have 90 days to grow it by as much as is legally and ethically possible.

This is an ideal opportunity to test your organisations ingenuity and entrepreneurship, and to build the team spirit within your work place.

It is also FUN so you can be sure you will be supported by a member of our fundraising team every step of the way – through developing your ideas to publicising your efforts in the local media.

Fundraising initiatives can be as simple or as complex as participants want – it can last three hours, three days or three months and our fundraising team is committed to providing support all the way! Whether you double, treble or even grow your £50 ten times – every penny you raise will help us continue to provide care and support for our very special children and their families.

Some examples of businesses that have done the Corporate challenge over the years are,

Bank of America
- have done cake sales including selling Krispy Kreme donuts and raised £747.80

Scottish Power
- held a Dragon’s Den pitch and raised £1,210

Headquarters of Nantwich
- held an Afternoon tea at the Residence and raised £115.

We give you £50 and you could spend it on a fundraising initiative and turn it into…

£175 - Which could also ensure that a specially trained children’s nurse can help families look after their child at home in their final hours and provide emotional and practical support to the family.

£300 – So that we could also arrange a day out to remember for a child with complex health needs and their whole family.

£550 – Which could also pay for 24 hours of care for a terminally ill child at our hospices. Doctors, nurses and physiotherapists are just some of the staff involved in delivering round the clock holistic care.

£800 – Which could also cover the cost of 20 sessions with our child bereavement team working with staff and pupils as a school when a fellow student has died suddenly, often in very traumatic circumstances.
