This amazing event is held in a different part of the country each year and sees over 250 champion ploughmen and women showcasing their skills. It’s not just ploughing though! It offers a rare glimpse of how farming has changed over the past 300 years – from 17 pairs of magnificent heavy horses and many styles of vintage tractors and equipment; and giant steam ploughing engines through to the most up-to-date farm machinery. With lots of trade stands, shopping and country crafts plus tractor & trailer rides, it’s a great day out for all the family!
There will be food outlets, car parking is free, admission on the day is £15 per adult or £2 per child but discounted tickets are available to buy online now.
