Large employers and local Councils offer their staff additional ‘employee benefits’ to help with recruitment and staff retention. One reason why most Benefit Schemes don’t feature deals and discounts from local firms is mainly due to it being so time consuming administrating the schemes. It’s a lot easier to offer one deal from a national brand than it is to add lots of offers from lots of small businesses, and clearly, companies who run staff benefits have a duty to ensure their staff only receive offers and discounts from reliable and reputable businesses who can deliver a great service and honour the promised discount, which they do by visiting the business to do certain checks.
