An exceptional animal welfare society, Tendring and District Cats Protection care for and rehome stray cats in and around Frinton and Walton.

Serving the Frinton and Walton area and beyond, Tendring and District Cats Protection are the local branch of a registered, national animal rescue charity and animal welfare society.

We are the Tendring branch of Cats Protection based in Frinton-on-Sea and we cover post codes C07 and CO11 - CO16.

Our dedicated volunteers find temporary foster homes for all the stray and abandoned cats they rescue whilst looking for suitable, permanent new homes. To go on rescuing strays and caring for these unfortunate animals, they need the support of cat lovers across Frinton and Walton.

You can help Tendring and District Cats Protection as a volunteer, by fostering a stray, or joining in with fundraising.

The branch’s main objective has always been to help to control the suffering of unwanted cats and kittens by operating an ongoing programme of neutering and by providing education on welfare issues. We also provide new homes for cats that come into our care via our small team of fosterers.

We have an active team of volunteers who help the branch raise much needed funds in order to continue the work of the branch.
