Timmys trust was started to support children and their families through cancer by helping with travel costs for treatments, short breaks and special requests.
Timmy was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare solid tumor, in June 2008 After 3 years of intensive treatment Timmy sadly passed away on the 11th October 2011. Timmy would have been 8 years old in the 19th January and to mark his birthday we opened this trust in his name to help other children with cancer.
We can help support some families who require extra help towards travel arrangements for treatments outside the normal protocol - abroad, far from home. In special cases we are also hoping to offer help towards holiday costs for families where time maybe crucial and family time is precious.
The Timmy Trust is a non-profit organisation.
