With over 60 members, who share a wide range of experience and expertise in many different media, ranging from the near-professional to beginners.
Meetings include lectures and demonstration evenings by established professional artists. The programme is augmented by monthly workshops for members to learn, under supervision, from working artists. In addition the Society operates two studio mornings each week where members can practice their skills in an informal environment. Throughout the season art-based visits and outings are arranged on an ad-hoc basis.
There are opportunities to exhibit in three different local venues throughout the year. Additionally major exhibitions are mounted at the discretion of the committee.
We meet monthly at 7.00 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of the month between September and May.
