We have thousands of people visiting our website every month to be inspired about things to do in the Cirencester area. You can add details of your fundraising event to our events pages too!
Members of Gemini Nordic Walking have been ‘pushing the poles’ on various sections of the Cotswold Way, in preparation for Nordic Walking the entire length of this National Trail from Chipping Campden to Bath, all 102 miles over 4 days, spanning 4 weekends.
For those of us that love the outdoors and all that it provides, peace, solitude, adventure etc we all share common traits, we have places we want to explore, get up early to catch the sunset and the best weather, we sit on hills and drink a warm brew from a trusted flask that has seen as many adventures as you (and probably rolled down a few hills too), and marvel at the sunset from an idyllic vantage point, but most of all, we just love the countryside.
Nordic Walking is not just walking with poles, it is also a fabulous way to get fit and enjoy the countryside with like-minded folk. With added bonuses of burning serious amounts of calories (500+ calories), using 90% of skeletal muscles, enjoying cardiovascular exercise with minimal joint impact and being able to chat and laugh all the way around your route, it is not surprising that Nordic Walking is one of the fastest growing activities in Europe.
This Christmas we at LoCo Glass would like to give our customers the chance to purchase a very special gift, something unique, an experience that the recipient will look forward to, enjoy and remember for a long time.

Read on to find out how in San Diago it was all over in 15 seconds..
