You can phone Samaritans for support 24 hours a day, every day of the year, in confidence, knowing you won't be judged, or given advice. Or you can visit the Chesterfield Branch and talk face to face with a volunteer who will give you the time and space to talk over your feelings, in a safe environment. (We are normally open from 10 am to 10 pm, please check by telephone first). Confidential Textline available 24:7 on 07725 909090. We need to promote the service because people going through crisis often have no-one they can talk to on total confidence or discuss issues they find emotional or disturbing. We like to get out and about in and around Chesterfield. Last year we had stalls at several local venues and are hoping to do even more this year. For us it is an opportunity to meet people, as well as publicise our service and raise much needed funds, if you see us please come and say hello. For the Samaritan Centre on Rose Hill there is adequate Town Centre Parking.
