At Alan Drabble School Of Motoring we believe in promoting road safety, and Insurance Industry statistics which prove that new drivers are more at risk due to their lack of experience.

IF WE CAN ENABLE NEW DRIVERS TO MAKE BETTER CHOICES THEY WILL HAVE LESS CRASHES.

This course includes the elements of the traditional Pass Plus scheme, and also includes Defensive Driving, Advanced Driving and Eco-driving elements to the new driver.

We also promote a better understanding of the issues regarding the use of Mobile phones and other technology in cars to help a better understanding and reduce distractions within the vehicle.

The scheme is a ten hour course, including:

Urban roads

Rural roads

Adverse weather conditions

Night driving

Dual carriageways

Motorways

Defensive driving

Advanced driving techniques*

Eco-driving

*we recommend a follow up course with our favoured Advanced Driving group, RoSPA, who are a registered charity, and successfully passing their test can result in substantial saving on insurance - more importantly Advanced Drivers are shown to be 70% less likely to be involved in a collision.

The course is taken at convenient times around home, work or educational demands, and will be conducted by one of our trainers who are not only experienced instructors but who have passed advanced tests but also have experience in delivering Police Diversionary Scheme courses.

It is designed to be taken in five blocks of two hours per day although this can be adjusted to suit your needs.
