IOSH Managing Safely 5/6th & 12/13th July 2012 (5 days) - £540 per person (group discounts available)

Managing safely is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It’s designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

 

9-13th July 2012 - Door Supervisor - £270 per person (group discounts available)

The HABC Level 2 Award in Door Supervision has been developed to meet the requirements of the SIA.  It is based on the relevant SIA specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.


16th July 2012 - L2 Food Safety - £75 per person (group discounts available)

Designed for operatives in the food industry and individuals who handle food on a daily basis, the course will explain personal and general food hygiene. On completion you achieve the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officer’s Certificate.

 

16th July 2012 - Personal Licence - £185 per person (group discounts available)

This nationally recognised qualification is designed for anyone within the hospitality and leisure industry to apply for a licence authorising the retail sale of alcohol in licensed premises. Although the course is open to people 16 years old or over, anyone with the qualification will have to be 18 years old before they can apply for a licence to work behind a bar. Course handbook cost and examination fees are included in the price.

 

23-27th July 2012 - FLT Novice - £456 per person (group discounts available)

Course is aimed at anyone who has an interest in becoming a forklift operator who has no previous experience. The Course includes; Operators Safety Code, Inspection and Maintenance, Manoeuvring Exercises, Load Handling and Assessment. This course can be delivered either at the work place or at our new Logistics Training centre in Chesterfield.


28th July 2012 - Driver CPC - £72.09 per person (group discounts available)

Driver CPC was introduced in the UK in September 2009 for Professional HGV drivers and in September 2008 for bus and coach drivers. It is a qualification designed to confirm and expand the knowledge and skills of the driver throughout their working life. The DCPC is divided into what is called “periodic training”. This is 35 hours of training over a 5-year period. Every professional driver will need to complete this training in order to retain the DCPC and be legally allowed to drive professional.

 

30th July 2012 - Emergency 1st Aid at Work - £75 per person (group discounts available)

This course is ideal for small workplaces that present fewer health and safety risks where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. A College certificate will be issued on successful completion, the certificate is valid for 3 years.
