The Spireites sign former QPR, Oldham, Yeovil and Leyton Orient Defender Terrell Forbes on a one year deal. He started his career at West Ham helping them win the FA Youth Cup in 1998-99 season, although he never played for the first team.  He moved to QPR in July 2001 establishing himself in the first team and also winning player of the Season during his 3 years at the Club, helping the team win automatic Promotion to the Championship in 2004, and was released by the Club during the Summer having made 114 appearances.

He then went on to play for Grimsby and Oldham, spending a season at both Clubs. Yeovil then signed him in 2006, helping them reach the play off final in May 2007 losing 2-0 to Blackpool. In 2010 Leyton Orient offered him a contract, having made 163 appearances and managed to score his first ever goal at Yeovil against Bristol Rovers on 24th October 2009. He then spent 2 seasons at Leyton Orient making 73 appearances and scoring 2 goals.

His versatility, pace and strength will make him a real asset to the back line, he can play in any position in defence.

Another good signing for the Spireites, having only recently signed Defender Hird from Doncaster, whom Sheridan has gone onto make Club captain. It gives Sheridan plenty of options, he could play Hird in front of the back four, where he played when he was at Doncaster and then Trotman could partner Forbes in Central defence.

It is great to see the club making quality signings with still 2 and half months of the transfer window to go. Just need a quality centre midfielder now.
