It is less than a week, until the Olympic Torch arrives in Chesterfield (Friday 29th June) and we are very excited, here at Thebestof Chesterfield.
The torch will be arriving to travel through Bolsover at approximately 11.52am and then will make it's way through Calow to arrive in Chesterfield at approximately 12.46pm, to see the exact route being taken, please check here.
The Olympicnics will begin at just after 1pm in Queens Park and will run until 5pm. Special guest on the day will be Chesterfields' very own Winter Olympic Athlete Ellie Koyander (who will actually be running with the torch the day after, Saturday 30th June in Burton).
