As the nights set in and we wave goodbye to the summer, there’s nothing better than a really good hearty meal. Whether it be locally sourced game or a bowl of our piping hot soup, the Fox and Goose is the perfect place to enjoy warming cuisine and service on a crisp day or evening. By the fire or enjoying our beautiful views, we promise to satisfy your taste-buds.
The new autumn menu is full of exciting new flavours, as well as featuring plenty of the old favourites. Getting into the autumn mood, meats such as venison, pheasant and rabbit, which are at their prime in these months, are accompanied by root vegetables and rich sauces, and are all locally shot and sourced.
If you’re not feeling adventurous enough for pheasant, then our faithful pie on the hill, gammon steak, and other pub classics are still available, as well as a wide selection of lighter meals and starters.
