Do you appreciate skilled handycrafts? Do you do handycrafts? Then come along to the "Marvellous Hands" event organised by the Chesterfield Canal Trust at their Hub by Hollingwood Lock, 22 Works Road, S43 2PF.

This is the third in a series of monthly craft days at the venue, already proving popular with both exhibitors and visitors. The aim is to support both hobby craftsmen/women and professionals giving an opportunity to show and sell their products and also to increase public interest in various crafts.

On display will be products such as home made chocolate, original paintings, home dyed wool, woven items, beaded jewellery, knitted items, various kinds of cards, silk flower arrangements, dressmaking and jewellery etc. Some exhibitors will also demonstrate their skills. The event is open on Sunday 13th May from 10am-4pm. Visitors have free entry + parking.

If you would like to exhibit, the next craft days are scheduled for 10th June and 8th July. The fee for the table is £5 and goes toward the Chesterfield canal restoration. Please contact Eva Thompson on: promotions@chesterfield-canal-trust.org.uk. or phone 01246 477569 and leave a message quoting "craft day".
