Grassmoor Primary School is one of six schools chosen to make the final of the Ronseal Playground Project, a National Competition in order to win a wonderful new playground, worth £30,000! They now need your vote in order to win.
Ronseal and play equipment manufacturer Timberline decided to launch the project in order to offer schools who are struggling with budget cuts the chance to win the ultimate outdoor play are makeover.
Grassmoor Primary School was due to be re-built under the government’s schools for the future programme. After the scheme was scrapped, all money saved and raised by the school is now having to be put towards essential repairs for roofs, windows and electrics. At the moment the school does not have any playground facilities but unfortunately funding for a new playground is at the bottom of the list.
Visit the Facebook Page ‘Ronseal UK’ and simply 'Like' the photo of Grassmoor Primary School. Remember you will have to ‘Like' the Ronseal UK Page before you can ‘like’ the picture. The winner will be the school that receives the most votes via the Facebook Page. You need to cast your vote before midnight this Friday 15th July.
Currently Grassmoor lies in 3rd position with 1619 votes with the current leader on over 2800.
