Historic border country walking festival in the Peak District.

Enjoy nine fantastic day's of walking from the 14-22 May 2011 to discover the Peak District's Historic Border Country.  There are 40 walks to choose from, most of which are free of charge.

 

Whatever it is you fancy, there should be something available for everyones taste and ability. 

 

Like a challenge?  Try the Chesterfield Round Walk, a full 34 mile trek taking in the countryside that surronds town.  Can't handle an entire 34 miles in just 1 day?  You could enjoy the walk in 3 more manageable chunks fo 10-12 miles each on three different days.

 

How about the atmospheric and thoght provoking tour, following in the footsteps of murderers and their victims in the Chesterfield Murder Walk?

 

Enjoy the water, why not try Boats and Boots?  Enjoy a leisurely trip aboard the John Varley narrowboat and then walk by foot along the towpath...

 

Would love a pint after all that hard work why not try the Up and Over and Down a Pint or Hops Caches and Countryside?
