Volunteers are vital to the ongoing success of any community sports club, but as well as needing people to help with the running of the club we also need volunteers to officiate at matches.

The Rugby Football League are currently offering two foundation courses in the area in November 2012 (Northampton) and March 2013 (Telford).  There are no pre-requisites, other than an interest in the game although clearly familiarity with the rules will be a distinct advantage.

The minimum age for participation in the training is 12 years of age and there is a charge of £25 for adults and £12.50 for juniors.

Please get in touch if you would be interested in taking part in the training or would like to receive a copy of the application form.  Alternatively take a look at http://www.therfl.co.uk/referee

Saturday 3rd November from 10am until 4pm Park Campus, Northampton University, Boughton Green Road, Northampton, NN2 7AL

Saturday 2nd March from 10am until 4pm Telford College of Art and Design, Haybridge Road, Telford, TF1 2NP
