Ashgate Hospice provides specialist paliative care (to reduce pain rather than cure) and support for adults and their families both at the Hospice and within the local community.

 

I watched the following Ashgate Hospice short film whilst I was there and I must warn you it brought me to tears.  The film explains perfectly what the Hospice does and shows the difference each and every supporter of the Hospice makes to the lives of the local people and community.

 

I was absolutely astounded to learn that it costs well over £4 million each and every year, to provide this service and that a massive £2.7 million needs to be raised solely through fundraising and individual contributions.

 

Without YOU and YOUR support and help they simply would not be able to continue providing this care and vital service needed by the local community.

Ashgate Hospice Lottery

Join in the fun from just £1 per week for a randomly allocated 5 digit number.  The draw takes place every week and there is £1250 worth of prizes to be won.

 

 

 

 

Come Dine at Mine

Organise a Dinner Party that actually makes a difference!!  A great way to socialise with friends, show off your culinary skills and raise money at the same time. 

Hospice Shops

Ashgate Hospice has charity shops throughout North Derbyshire, in Bakewell, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Claycross, Dronfield and Staveley.

May 15, 2011.  A 5 mile road race for Men Only!

 

 

 

 

Midnight Walk

June 25, 2011.  A 6.5 or 13 mile walk for Ladies Only!
