Chester Handbooks produce local community-based handbooks for the city of Chester and surrounding areas.

Established in 2005, they began with the first issue ‘the Huntington Handbook’ which was delivered personally to 1,400 residents in the area. Today, Chester Handbooks design and produce 5 local handbooks, equating to 21,500 copies being delivered in and around Chester each month.

They know a lot about marketing and advertising, attracting local businesses and traders, large and small, with a keen interest in serving the regional community.

For advertisers, they offer a ‘one stop shop’ for business and promotional needs, printing leaflets, banners, A-Board posters, logo and brand creation. They can also offer favourable discounted packages for long-term advertisers.

Chester Handbooks produces the following publications:
• Chester City Handbook
• Huntington and Boughton Handbook
• Inside Upton
• Mollington and Saughall Handbook
• Vicars Cross Voice

The handbooks also feature reader competitions, local news segments, community group and activity information, lifestyle and fitness tips, recipes, car reviews and home improvement tips. In addition to their handbooks, they also update their readers via regular social media posts on both Facebook and Twitter.

As the booklets are distributed not just to personal residences, but also to libraries, dental surgeries and doctor’s surgeries, advertisers can reach around 60,000 potential customers each month.

So, if you are a sole trader, or own a business in or around Chester and are looking to reach a targeted audience, join over 400 advertisers each month and contact Chester Handbooks on 01829 770895 or via their website www.chesterhandbooks.co.uk.
