For young children, Up Hatherley Library participates in the Bookstart schemes which focus on the fun and entertainment that can be found in reading and sharing books. The Library Club, held every second Tuesday of the month 11:00 – 12:00, is a way for members to meet others and receive reliable transport to the library.

Overdrive, Bolinda, the Public Library On-line, Virtual Reference Library and the Cyber Library are all accessible for the downloading of eBooks and eAudiobooks. As a borrowing service, the books can be downloaded and are automatically removed after the loan is up.
