Rain, rain, go away! We have outdoors celebrations like Halloween and Bonfire Night to enjoy! How will you spend yours? Read on for all the information you need to enjoy this colourful part of the year.

Dr Mz is a youth drop-in centre in Carmarthen that has a positive impact on young lives and to raise some money for this really important community project, they’re hosting a Halloween Spooky Spectacular at Richmond Park clubhouse on Friday 30th at 4pm. For the grown-ups, Llanelly House is hosting a Halloween Murder Mystery Night at 7pm which includes a three-course meal and entertainment. On Sunday 1st November (providing you haven’t been scared to death by Halloween shenanigans) anyone thinking of tying the knot is invited to a beautiful wedding showcase at the equally beautiful Aberglasney Gardens. If you’re in a creative frame of mind, you might be interested in the felting workshop that’s being held at The National Botanic Gardens near Llanarthne. Of course, the next event in the social calendar is Bonfire Night – have you made plans? Carmarthen Round Table are organising the biggest night of firework firepower that the town has EVER seen and there will be entertainment from live acts, a funfair, food stalls and radio presenter Jay Curtis will be your host for a night that will certainly go with a bang. Newcastle Emlyn’s town committee have once more organised a firework spectacular set in the castle ruins for Thursday 5th November and you’re all invited to go along and enjoy this lovely family evening out.
