Don’t say I didn’t warn you – the end of the year approaches with lightning speed and we’re all left wondering what happened to November! Well, there’s lots to do and be done so in between taste-testing the mince pies (it has to be done – we all need to know they taste ok) and grabbing something warm to drink, have a look at this week’s round-up of what’s occurring to be sure you don’t miss out on anything and don’t forget that this is not the full list of what’s going on – I couldn’t fit it all in! On Friday 20thNovember, Llanelli will launch their Christmas Carnival as huge crowds gather to welcome the start of the Christmas season at Festival Fields before heading to the historic Town Hall for a large funfair, fireworks and of course, the switching on of the lights. Saturday 21st November will be a great day to spend at Llandeilo’s Festival Of Senses – their annual celebration of the best of food, drink, shopping, crafts and entertainment which will run from Friday 20th til Sunday 22nd. It’s chic, it’s unique and it’s free so go along and make the most of this lovely little town - you never know what’ll find. Outdoor bootsales have all-about finished now but there are indoor pitches available at FfosLas Racecourse for their boot sale on Sunday 22nd November and if you don’t have your own table, you can hire one. A great last-minute chance to declutter and raise some funds? Or perhaps the chance for a change of scenery and a wander around the stalls in search of the perfect bargain bizarre Secret Santa gift?!
