Gwesty’r Emlyn Hotel are hosting the Real Ale and Wine Festival on 27th and 28th August.

The fun kicks off around 2pm in the Ty Nest function suite at the Gwesty'r Emlyn Hotel in Newcastle Emlyn. There will be live entertainment throughout the afternoon and late into the evening.  There will be a Pig Roast with yummy accompaniments. 

And of course there will be the opportunity of tastings!

This will be your opportunity to taste Real Ales from
Monty’s Brewery such as Sunshine and Monty’s Mischief an award winning bitter, golden, refreshing and easily quaffable!

Kite Brewery is one of Wales most exciting new micro brewery based on The famous Cwmcerrig Farm adjacent to Cwmcerrig Farm Shop.  The ales being showcased are Goldwing and Thunderbird.

Purple Moose is another award winning Brewery from Porthmadog and the ales to be showcased are Glaslyn Ale (Winner to the Best Bitters category at CAMRA Champion Beer of Wales 2006 and again  at CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain 2007.  It is a golden fruity best bitter with a well balanced hoppy finish and the Dark side of the Moose also a CAMRA award winning beer and is a dark ale with a deep malt flavour from roasted barley and a fruity bitterness from Bramling Cross Hops
