Are you one of many people who is simply fed up with continual waxing and shaving to remove unwanted facial and body hair?

Do you suffer with sun spots or premature ageing of the skin due to a history of sun worshipping?

Or perhaps you are just simply fed up of troublesome skin conditions and facial imperfections

Fear not!! Help is around the corner – in fact around your corner.....

West Wales Aesthetics & Laser Clinic uses IPL (Intense Pulse Light) to effectively and permanently reduce skin imperfections, such as broken capillaries, Rosacea, age spots and freckles and any unwanted hair growth on the face and body. This is the method most commonly used by Medical Practitioners and Aestheticians.

How does it work?

In the case of hair removal, a series of short, focused bursts of light travels through the skin and it strikes the hair shaft/root. The light is then converted to heat energy and disables the hair follicle from growing further hair.

Does it hurt?

Most people who have undergone IPL treatment experience a temporary warming, which at its worst is similar to that of mild sunburn. However it does depend on the instrument settings and intensity. Treating the more sensitive areas for hair reduction can result in a sensation similar, but less, to that of waxing, which passes almost immediately.

Points to consider when choosing your clinic -

•    Is the clinic registered with HIW (Healthcare Inspectorate Wales)?
•    Are the Practitioners qualified?
•    Does the clinic offer a consultation and patch test before treatment? And do they take into account your medical history?
•    Are you able to discuss the treatment?
•    The cost of treatments at the clinic?
•    Are you able to find reviews/feedback/testimonials from past clients?

At West Wales Aesthetics & Laser Clinic, the staff will be more than happy to discuss with you your needs, questions and concerns. They will go the extra mile to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

They understand how issues like facial hair/imperfections affect a person's confidence, and always strive to minimise any noticeable signs of treatment. From beginning to end, the whole process will be discreet and completely confidential.

For more information, or to take advantage of current offers, call 01239 639 154, all consultations and patch tests are free, with no obligation.
