Now I really need help from all you Bestof Carmarthen members. I want to raise £500.00 for Cerebra, Bestof Carmarthen member and UK charity that supports families with brain injured children. Nerves are kicking in but I've done all the training I can do and now all that's left is to run the race. As a copywriter I rely on my fingers to type. Tomorrow it's the legs that need to take the strain. I've been amazed to find that getting out and training hasn't been that difficult. I guess once people started sponsoring me, training runs moved up my priority list. Now I look forward to going out. Not every run is easy. In fact yesterday I had to perform a thorn extraction on the side of the road. The hedges have all been cut round here and one 2 inch thorn managed to embed itself right through the sole of my trainer. Dogs looked on bemused.
So by 10am tomorrow it'll all be over. Wish me luck.
