Business was certainly buzzing last night at thebestof Carmarthen’s and Mid & West Wales Chamber Networking event
It was once again held at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. It was extremely pleasing to see such a wide range of businesses represented from Commercial Cleaners to Business Coaches, Web Designers, Wood Flooring, Electricians, Letting Agents, Coffee & Tea Companies, Joiners, Estate Agents, Copywriters IT Solutions to name just a few. In addition a Generator Company, Domestic Cleaning company were also represented.
Our speakers were well received and interesting. Karen Burch from Dyfed Powys Police E Crime Wales division gave us all an important reminder on the threat of ecrime in many of its forms and what to do about it. Do click on E Crime Wales for more information.
Juliet Fay spoke of her recent challenge in completing a 5K run for thebestof Carmarthen’s sponsored Charity Cerebra. Juliet has raised well over £500. A great result
We also invited Anne Howells and Nerys Fuller-Love gave a brief talk on a new initiative with Aberystwyth University on a Networking Project with West Wales and Ireland. I know many of the businesses were very interested and completed application forms to take part. Business was more than just buzzing Donald Melrose of Action Coach quickly explained “5 ways to Profit” but see his blog for full details! and some were actually making sales. Alpha-Oak Flooring & Joinery actually did business receiving an order and a couple of really sound enquiries!! I know Sarah was thrilled. The atmosphere was really friendly and many were still chatting away well after 9 pm!!
