🎄 St Donat's Castle Tour and Festive Afternoon Tea 🏰

After a 90-minute immersive tour, retreat to the elegant Dining Hall, where a sumptuous Festive Afternoon Tea awaits. Savor an array of delightful sandwiches and homemade cakes, accompanied by tea or coffee, as you relax in the cosy ambiance of the season (sample menu below). Included in the price is also a St Donats Castle guide book.

Tour Itinerary: 11:30am - 1:00pm: Guided Tour of St Donat's Castle. Festive Afternoon Tea 1:00pm- 2:00pm (please note, another tour group will also be present in the Dining Hall).

About The Tour

St Donat’s Castle is a 12th-century castle now home to UWC Atlantic College. Where possible, we have made the ground floor areas accessible by using ramps but in some cases, alternative routes may be required. Please note that, due to the historic site's nature, surfaces are uneven and include cobblestones.

The tour includes both outdoor spaces and internal rooms such as the Great Hall, Bradenstoke Hall, Gun Room, Breakfast Room, Dining Hall, and the Library (located on the first floor). Please note that this is a walking tour, and you will be on your feet for the duration.

On arrival, you will be directed to the tour's starting point. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes and has a maximum group size of 30 people.

This event requires pre-booking.

Please arrive 10-minutes before the start time of the tour time you have booked.

Important Information:

• Recommended for ages 12+
• Please list any special dietary requirements on the booking form. We can only cater for allergens and special dietary requirements notified in advance
• Please note you will be seated on long tables with other groups. If you wish to sit together as a group, please book together or email events@uwcatlanticexperience.com
• A selection of tea, coffee and squash is included in the ticket
• Booking in advance is required. Booking closes one week before the event date or when the event is sold out
• Each tour is limited to 30 people
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your tour
• Included in the event is a Christmas-themed afternoon tea and a tour of St Donat's Castle.
• UWC Atlantic is a College on private grounds and adheres to a safeguarding policy which can be read here
• Safeguarding concerns can be reported to the Safeguarding Lead via Main Reception
• You are not permitted in areas on campus outside of what is being used for this event
