On Friday 7th August from 3pm–5pm, Care UK’s Llys Cyncoed will open its doors to families and neighbours for a free food festival, inviting guests to tuck in and celebrate the nation’s shared love of great cuisine, community and connection.   Visitors to the Cyncoed Road home can look forward to a MasterChef-style competition featuring five of the home’s chefs, with each one sporting a stand in the sunshine with their signature dishes available to try.   Guests can then vote for their favourite dish and see the best Welsh care chef crowned on the day, with the competitive spirit brewing between them already as they build up to the big day.   Frances Ferguson, resident at Llys Cyncoed, said: “I can’t wait for the inter-chef competition.
