From Saturday 24th July to Friday 30th July, Whitstable plays host to the 2010 Whitstable Oyster Festival.
Celebrating everything about Whitstable old and new, it's an annual week of festivities exploring the town's history and unique heritage, mixed in with a lot of contemporary talent and "enthusiasm for fun".
There will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor events involving family, food, heritage, arts and drink.
"All are affordable, many are free, and there is something for everyone to enjoy"
