What's on - Comedy Night in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
23rd February 2010
... Comments

What: Comedy night and story telling
When: Friday March 5th 2010 from 8pm
Where: Coffee and Corks, Palace Street, Canterbury
Who: Jester DevilStick Peat and Comedian Richard Dadd.

There's something to look forward to in these grey months, a spot of comedy to lighten the mood.

Owner of Coffee and Corks, Claire Vidler, set up a fundraising group for Macmillan Cancer Support in January along with Liz Flynn and Fiona Rawlinson, and this is their first official event.

Coffee and Corks will be host to a comedy and story telling evening, and will hopefully be the beginning of a long line of such events.

It should be an unusual evening as well, given that one of the turns is DevilStick Peat, a celebrated jester who entertains his audience with a mixture of juggling, magic and musical comedy.

I don't think there's an official entry fee, but suggested donations of £5 to Macmillan will be accepted on the door (please don't 'forget' to hand it over!)

For further information call Claire Vidler on 01227 457707.
