Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
several creatures were stirring
Eight rats and a mouse
They'd eaten the mince pies
left for Ruddy and crew,
And the wine left for Santa,
They'd guzzled that too.
Now they knew if they waited
and planned it with care
they could jump out the stockings
and give those two-legs a scare.
We wish everyone in Canterbury a very Merry Christmas - and remember, if your stocking is moving Christmas morning, Father Christmas may have left you more than you asked for!
