We held our last "An evening with thebest of Canterbury" for 2009 on Wednesday (2nd December) As usual the evening was a relaxed affair with free flowing beer and the now famous sandwiches!
We welcomed quite a few new faces and of course my most loyal business members and associates were there to soak up the atmosphere. Lets not forget, most were there for the networking and the opportunity to meet people who they can help and potentially who can help them, be it directly or indirectly.
There is no hard sell at my events and primarily they are intended as social occasions and they give me an opportunity to catch up with business members both new and old.
I felt a little sad as I left The Falstaff Hotel as this was the last event we will hold there. The good news is we will be moving to The Howfield Manor Hotel for our next couple of "An evening with..." in 2010. The new owners are working wonders with this hotel and it promises to be a fantastic venue. New and exciting venues will be announced throughout next year.
