When speed dating first took off, I admit I wasn't a fan - for someone who was nervous of small talk, the thought of several few minutes' introductory chats filled me with dread. However, I'm older, wiser, much more confident at networking (which is essentially all it is), and would seriously consider registering with an agency like Singles Speed Date. Were I not in a committed relationship already of course. (Sorry, darling)
