Cantering round Canterbury
2nd March 2010
... Comments

Friday March 19th to Sunday 21st is the weekend thousands of people across the country go sport-crazy - even if they've not donned trainers since about 1973.

2010's Sport Relief events will kick off around the UK, raising millions of pounds for charity.

Canterbury is joining in the fun with The Canterbury Mile taking place at The University of Kent campus on Sunday 21st March from 9.30am, with the 1, 3 and 6 mile events starting at 11.00am.

Run, jog, walk.... whatever you're capable of!

It's a great day out for all the family, and organisers are promising great views of Canterbury along the route. That's if you can manage to look up from the ground you're crawling along - or will that just be me?

In the meantime email us at thebestof Canterbury to let us know about any other Sport Relief events you're taking part in so we can plug them for you - and we'd like to see pictures too please.
