Thank you Dog and Partridge for a lovely meal, it was very nice. Have been recommended by family and also people at chapel in Norton Canes. We will come again.

The service we receive whilst at The Dog and Partridge is always outstanding. The staff are friendly and professional and always happy to help. The food is way above the standard you would expect for a pub, top of our list for eating out. Well done all.

The very best pint of Guinness I have had anywhere in the west midlands. Extra cold and tasted so fresh. Clearly a great pint. The lady who served me at the bar is. Credit to this place she was superb and excellent customer service. I can not wait to come back and try the food. Super place with excellent service and great pints.

A fabulous family run traditional country pub. It’s a destination venue, but it’s worth it. You’ll have to book, as it’s very popular. The menu is extensive, including all the favourites. There’s also a light bite selection. We’ve been there on our own and with friends. It has a roaring fire and a fantastic selection of real ales and premium lagers. Sometimes we have the hot beef baguette, with gravy, or a steak dinner. Which ever you choose it’s cooked just right, hot, and delicious. As for value for money it hard to beat, no corners have been cut, and what ever you choose you’ll not be disappointed. Even when there’re busy the waiting time is reasonable, and it’s worth the wait. As you can tell we love this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, you can tell their happy working there, Highly Recommend

Been past this place many times and always promised ourselves we'd go in. We'll definitely be going back. We both had a pie with pastry top. Steak & ale and steak & kidney. A wide variety of sides are offered, veg, chips, salad and you can even pick whether you want a pastry or mash topping. They don't just do pies. The menu offers a range of pub classics and if they're anything like what we had they will all be top top quality. The staff were excellent, the service was as good. It's sort of hidden away but it's definitely worth a visit. Next time I'll be getting a taxi so I can sample one the ales they offer. Very glad we've been. It won't be the last time.

I've only ever been here for drinks, but last night me and my partner and I came for food, and I can certainly see why you're always so busy. The food was outstanding! The food menu is very large, and you're the only establishment I've ever visited, which offers a doggy menu, and it's awesome. We had the breaded mushrooms and filo king prawns for starters and 12oz gammon and hunters chicken for mains. Best meals I've ever eaten in a pub, and I can safely say you have gained 2 new regulars because we will definitely be coming back. The whole experience from the moment we walked in, to the second we left, was amazing. Thank you

A traditional rustic pub, interior decor in need of a bit of a makeover. That said if you want quality service and food, this is for you. We went for Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint. Table service, a set menu of traditional roast dinner on Sunday. You have a choice of 3 plate sizes and have to tell the waitress what you don't want serving otherwise you get every vegetable being cooked that day. We opted for the Medium size plate, see photo. You can opt for a single, two or three course meal. We opted for the two course, with choice of sweet, see photos. The meal was hot, tasty and well presented. What you cannot see from the photo is two good portions of turkey and two slices of gammon obscured by the vegetables. Other choices of meat were available beef, lamb and pork. Unlike many carveries there was ample gravy supplied. Top notch food and staff. As I have said in the past never judge a pub by its decor. UPDATE: Went for a Sunday Turkey Carvery, some things never change and we were glad they hadn't, fantastic food, served hot, wonderful staff, great prices, whats not to like.
