Richard Coombes provides a past exam paper service that enables students to understand exactly what level they are working at. By completing past papers and being given a grade students are able to identify any weaknesses and act before the actual exam. Richard offers a past exam service where students are sent a past exam and asked to complete under exam conditions. This paper is then sent to Richard for marking against the official marking scheme. The results are then fed back along with any recommendations by Richard. This service could be the difference between a pass or a fail for many students with upcoming exams.
This past exam service is available for both GCSE and A level exams from major exam boards.

Due to a change in career, I require tuition on both basic and also more advanced engineering mathematics. Having not studied it since school, Rich tailors each session to suit my needs, provides me with honest, helpful feedback, and frequently evaluates how I am progressing.Rich is on hand to provide additional resources and practical advice. My daughter had been struggling in class in year 9 so I decided that I would look for a tutor. Well I’m so glad we choose Rich for my daughters tutoring. He is very understanding and she loves going to every lesson. His style of learning she really enjoys and the planning that he does for each lesson is great.He goes over anything she doesn’t understand at school and also goes through past papers to make her confident. She has just done a test at school and she came out on top So it’s really paying off Thank you Rich and we will continue with your support until she passes her maths in GCSE .

Rich is an amazing tutor, helped me with maths for an entry exam to engineering degree at university. How far I have come in such a short space of time is down to my time with Rich, from helping or sending extra work whenever I emailed him or to explaining techniques time and time again. Each lesson was a pleasure and perfectly planned to suit the level I was at with questions always prepared. The use of the whiteboard helps loads when he’s explaining, Rich is also so easy to talk to and I could easily stop him if I needed something explaining again and he would even find different ways to make it easier for me. Richard is an amazing maths tutor, he’s so friendly and easy to talk to if you have concerns. Every single lesson was fun and I can honestly say I looked forward to them. The homework was always useful and tailored to me, and I could email whenever I was in need of further support. I feel that I really progressed in the short amount of time that I was tutored by Rich and I was able to achieve the grades I needed to study medicine at my first choice university.Could not recommend a person more.
