RAM hair is the realisation of a dream for salon director Robbie McGarva. Robbie has over 15 years hairdressing experience working as the Creative Director for a number of UK based companies as well as experience from working at London Fashion Week and on high profile editorial photo shoots and shows. Robbie's talents have also seen him apply his trade in Australia as a Master Stylist.
The talented hairdressing team are dedicated to providing clients with real change that fits their lifestyle whilst looking their very best and being on trend.

I have been having my hair looked after by Tom for at least 5 years and now I have moved out of the area (to telford) I still drive all the way back to see the RAM hair team. Its always a warm welcome, and the lovely relationship between the team is lovely. I would trust nobody else with my hair, and highly recommend RAM Hair!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Robbie and the team are so friendly and welcoming that I look forward to my appointments! Tom is a true genius with colour, he, Anna, Lee, Chloe and Steph never fail to make me feel fabulous.

RAM Hair is an excellent service.Since my first appointment I have always been made to feel welcome which is very comforting. The fantastic stylists and hair dye professionals definitely make it worthwhile. Would absolutely recommend.

Fabulous, friendly and forward thinking. I have been having my hair done at RAM since the beginning. You are always made to feel comfortable and colour and cut services are exceptional. I can totally trust the team to make me look the best I can be.

Cut by the managing director. As you can see the cut does not resemble the reference photo at all and has been cut completely differently. I can accept that things go wrong and hair grows back, and when I asked for a refund, they were completely respectful and said I could go into the salon for the refund. However when I did this I faced another poor experience, whereby Robbie (managing director who cut my hair) did not even come out from the back of the salon to apologise / see if there is anything he could do to remediate the bad haircut / face up and provide good customer service. He instead, hid in the back, and left another stylist to run back and forth from his ‘lair’ and back to me, acting as a messenger which is unprofessional for him to do and put her through. I paid £49 for my cut, and kept my receipt. However when I arrived, the stylist Robbie had sent to deal with me returned with £39 and tried to insist that this was the correct amount, until I revealed my receipt proving I paid £49. I was also rather unhappy that they insisted I drive down from Telford to receive a cash refund, despite paying by card initially - I can only imagine this was a ploy to discourage me from following through and coming for a refund. Up until this point I had been relatively happy with Ram so my last experience was really disappointing. The botched haircut, I could see past, but the poor customer service I experienced when I showed dissatisfaction, I can’t forget, and I will not be returning.

I have my cut and colour by Tom every 6 weeks and always walk away feeling amazing! Really polite staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. 10/10

I've been having my hair done at RAM Hair for years now and it's been perfect every single time. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly, the customer service is always top notch. Tom does a great job whenever he cuts/colours my hair. Even when I give the loosest brief, he is able to help me find exactly what I'm after and the finish is such high quality. Wouldn't want to get my hair done anywhere else! Great work from the whole team!!

I’ve been going to RAM for over a year now having tried a few salons since I moved to Cannock about 6 years ago and I can honestly say it is the best salon I’ve tried in the town by far. The salon itself is stylish and welcoming and all the team are super friendly and all seem to genuinely get on, which creates a great atmosphere - the coffee is pretty good too! Robbie, the salon owner, always cuts my hair and I give him a bit of an idea of what I fancy and instead of just copying the picture, he works his magic to make the cut and style suit my face shape and hair type. The guys who colour also know their stuff; I’ve had Jess and Izzy for this and both of them sat down and really discussed what would work colour-wise, how they would go about it and also provided a quote before they started which is something you don’t find everywhere. Overall a great salon and service, and, if you’re lucky, you might get a bit of fuss with Bucky, the salon doggo. ?
