Chase Camping is a tent camp site within easy walk of Cannock Chase and it's attractions.
Chase Camping offers a remote camping experience in a place of natural beauty on the edge of Cannock Chase Forest. The campsite provides 100 camping pitches within a 12 acre area, so plenty of space for all! There are also 3 pitches available for caravans and motor homes. A 'glamping' experience is available at Chase Camping with bell tents available to hire. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Facilities
The campsite is 'pop up' campsite with basic facilities. Facilities do include a toilet trailer block with separate male and female toilets, individual portable shower units and drinking water points. Dogs are welcome at the campsite.
Location
Chase Camping is located just across the road from Birches Valley Visitors Centre. This centre provides many activities including designated bike trails, Go Ape high wire course, Segway tours, outdoor playground as well as beautiful walks through the forest.
Fires
Fires are permitted at Chase Camping, but all guests are asked to follow the site guidelines. Fires must be well away from tents using the fire pits, ground protection and specially treated kiln dried wood and starter kits to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all.
Opening Dates
Chase Camping is only open for selected weekends through the year. The campsite provides pop up camping facilities for events such as Forest Live, Staffordshire Ironman and other events bringing people to the area. Please call the helpful staff to check Chase Camping opening dates.

We camped here for Paul Weller concert. Loved the site. Beautiful setting, friendly staff, plenty of space, great atmosphere with lots of families enjoying themselves but not too noisy. Toilets brand new and well maintained by a very conscientious guy. Good little camping shop selling all sorts of useful things. Plus the setting is so handy for the concerts.

Superb set up just over the road from Cannock Chase Forest Live concerts (Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds). Toilets and showers clean, reception with camping supplies and coffees etc and a great pizza van was open from 4pm. Surprised it wasn't packed to the rafters, plenty of space and very friendly staff.

Absolute peach of a place, shame its only open a few months of the year. Great staff, nice little pizza van that done breakfast batches, and a great shop without the rip off prices that you,d find at other places. Right next to the live venue, so walking distance to the venue and go ape

Such friendly staff who are so accommodating. Hugely appreciated how they were so willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had the most pleasant stay. The bell tents are absolutely gorgeous with the bunting and fairy lights at the entrance... Really gives the experience that enchanted feeling! The bell tents are spacious, warm, and comfortable. Really lovely campsite which is clean and family friendly. Has water available, toilets, showers and a shop in a marquee on site! Perfect activity for all the family or with friends! Located in the middle of Cannock Chase with plenty of hiking routes available! Also has chairs, tables, water kegs available. Willing to cater as well for large groups and will happily spend time with you to select the best part of the campsite for you! Thank you for giving us such an incredible camping experience!

Perfect camping for Cannock Chase, over the road from Birches valley! This site has a real family atmosphere with great facilities (albeit temporary facilities) and a fantastic onsite shop that is honestly reasonably priced (£2 for a gas canister for instance). It's one of our favourites and has really spacious pitches. This last visit we hired a basic Bell tent (where you supply beds and bedding etc) and it was spotlessly clean and absolutely huge, really made a great home for the weekend, the only downside is the site is only open for a few weeks a year
